Clean Spaces, Responsible Communities
Climate action does not always begin with large campaigns or ambitious projects. Sometimes, it begins with something as simple as taking responsibility for the spaces we share.
As part of Yaran e Khair’s Climate Action Project, students of Degree College Chitral Town and members of Yaran e Khair came together for a cleanliness drive across the college campus and its surrounding areas. The activity provided an opportunity for students and volunteers to work collectively while contributing directly to the cleanliness and well-being of their community.
Beyond cleaning the campus, the initiative aimed to encourage a culture of responsibility toward our shared environment. It reflected Yaran e Khair’s belief that environmental awareness becomes meaningful when it translates into everyday action, from how we manage waste to how we care for the places in which we live, study, and work.
The participation of students was at the heart of the initiative. By stepping forward and working together, they demonstrated that young people can play an active role in creating cleaner, healthier, and more responsible communities.
The cleanliness drive was a small action, but it carried a larger message: environmental responsibility begins with us and with the spaces immediately around us.
A cleaner campus. A healthier community. A stronger culture of responsibility.
Through initiatives like this, Yaran e Khair continues to encourage young people to turn awareness into action and make environmental responsibility part of everyday community life.
Yaran e Khair aims to expand its Climate Action Project by engaging more students, schools, and communities in practical environmental initiatives. Through cleanliness drives, awareness sessions, tree plantation, climate education, and locally driven solutions, we hope to build a stronger culture of environmental responsibility and encourage young people to take meaningful action for a cleaner and more sustainable future If you can only give Rs. 500 just this one time, it will still make a difference.
